Home Features Bookings

What do you call it when you purchase a service? A booking. Cocorico is ram packed with features to manage bookings.

Pricing Policies

  • Rate based prices

Rate based prices are great for services such as consultants and car rental companies who charge per hour or per day (per time unit). Customers set a start and end time/date to define the service duration, which is then multiplied by the going rate. This of course works even when prices vary across multiple times & dates.

This is the model adopted by platforms such as Drivy.

  • Seat based prices

Seat based prices are ideal for experiences, group activities and theaters that sell access to a service at a given time for a specific duration. Seat based prices are ideal for collective yoga lessons for example.

This is the model adopted by platforms such as Vayable.

  • Service based prices

Service based platforms are ideal for services that are sold at a flat rate, independently of how long is required to render them. This is ideally suited for a hairdressing platform, where a haircut will carry a flat rate, independently of how long the hairdresser needs to execute the service.

This is the model adopted by platforms such as Fiverr.

Platform Fees

Asker Fees

Asker fees are the fees you charge on askers’ purchases. If an offeror agrees to render a service for 100$, and you charge a 10% asker fee, the asker pays 110$ and your cut is 10$. This can of course be set at 0%.

Offeror Fees

These are the fees you charge offerors on their sales. If an offeror makes a sale of for 100$, and you charge a 10% offeror fee, the offeror receives 90$ and your cut is 10$. This too can be set at 0%.

Individual Rates

Individual rates allow you to set user specific fees both as askers and offerors. This allows you to charge different fess to different users.

Booking Flows & Rules

Booking Flow

Cocorico allows you to customize your booking flow as required. You can set validation rules, allow instant booking and define delays after which requests expire.

Accepting & Refusing Requests

Offerors have a limited time to accept or refuse requests. If an offeror accepts a request, contact details are displayed, the calendar is updated and the ability to cancel the booking is displayed.

Minimum Delays

Minimum times are set between when a booking request is made and when the service is meant to start, and between when a request can be accepted and when the service must be provided.

Cancellation & Refund Policies

Cocorico automatically offers a choice between two cancellation policies to offerors: strict and relaxed. As an administrator you then define the cutoff dates (dates at which penalties apply) and the refund percentages that are offered. Offerors then select whether they’re relaxed or strict.
